Overview

The goal of this project was to design your own component library from scratch and then work in teams to develop app screens and interactions using the libraries. The final deliverable was a video that told a story about a user using just their phone.

• Created a complete and portable component library from scratch for a social media application using Figma

• Exchanged component libraries with teammates and used another teammate's component library to design a Dating App

• Used the 4 different applications designed using the 4 different component libraries to trace the story of a series of events in the life of a user

• Recorded video of our story which was an (attempted) murder mystery.

Premise

 

Jane Doe breaks up with her bitter boyfriend, Chad. Chad is a jerk and has frosted tips. He is not able to deal with the breakup and has been somewhat stalking Jane. Jane, who is over it, has downloaded a dating app and is ready to move on to someone who is a better fit, more emotionally stable, and less controlling. For the past couple of weeks, Jane has been chatting with several boys on a dating app and is planning on meeting one for the first date since the break-up
